How to make silver jewellery shiny again!

Just wondering would anyone have any tips for making silver jewellery shiny? I have some (admittedly quite inexpensive) silver pendants and they have a tarnished look to them. I'm just curious to know would anyone have any recommendations to get them clean and sparkly again! Thank you! :)

I haven't tried it myself but someone told me that if you lightly rub Vaseline on them and leave overnight they will shine when polished. Maybe try it on the back of some piece to see before launching into a major campaign!

i know it sounds odd, but use a soft toothbrush and rub toothpaste into the pieces, then clean it off... works well.

Try a tiny little bit of sudocream on cotton wool. Weird but works. It will come off black but just keep polishing and eventually it will shine

Have to agree wit Goodne, i have quite a bit of silver jewelery and the polish cloth from argos is fantastic, long lasting and inexpensive

You can buy silver cleaner in any supermarket, like brasso but for silver. Just with a toothbrush and a cloth and works really well.

If it has got little nooks and crannies, like charm bracelets, and things, just get some silver dip, which will take the tarnish off. then just put some soap on it and under running water rub it with a brass wirebrush. (I know it is highly unlikely that you will have a brass wirebrush at home but this is how we doing it at the jewellery shop)

Brown sauce works a trick! Sounds weird but a jeweller recommended it to me and it always works great :D
