Hi, I have 2x 580 ex2's and when one is on camera, i can get over 1/250s no problem, but if i put on my yongnuo transmitter/receiver, i can't over 1/250. Is it just that slaves don't work at over 1/250?

    Thanks

and .. also one of my 580's is STUCK in custom function. The screen has M mode with CFn underneath. If I press mode, I can ONLY switch between get M and Multi. And if I hold down the CFn button, I go back to the custom settings page, i.e Fn 01 0

How do I get flash back to normal, where i can switch between all 4 modes without Cfn. Thanks

The triggers wont synch past 1/250th but that wont stop you from shooting faster but you will start to get a black band at the bottom of the frame but you can crop that out. What camera do you use, you can access the custom functions on the back screen of the newer canon cameras and reset all custom functions easily enough.

Put the flash on the camera and then go into the flash control menu and use the clear custom function menu to reset the flash. You can do this for both flashes but they need to be on the camera to work
