    Hi Guys

We are looking for a holiday in Greece on one of the islands in July. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend or even seen a cheap package for there. I was looking but the prices are too high. 450-500 budget.

    Cheers
    Hope someone can help

Hi there, it's not particularly easy to get cheap deals to Greece at the moment. There are only 3 islands you can fly directly to from Ireland - Corfu, Crete and Zakynthos. The 4 or so travel companies that have these islands in their brochures are sharing one airplane a week to each island. So the lack of supply means less chance of cheap deals. A few years ago there were more weekly flights, a real sign of the times.

Looking online, Direct Holidays have 1 week deals in Corfu in July from €589 and 2 weeks from €665. They seem to be the cheapest at the moment.

We've just booked flight only for €445 p.p. to Corfu and are booking directly with a hotel. Not exactly cheap, and we are on a budget too, but to be fair, I priced a week in the Algarve, Balearics, Scicily, and there was nothing working out at under €600 p.p.

If you are flexible on dates, maybe you could hold out until last minute and hope you get a bargain deal? Or could you travel in June or September, out of peak season? You would definitely get a cheaper deal for those times.

    Best of luck :)
