importing cattle from NI

    Has anyone here imported cattle from the north?

    Is there much red tape and general hassle and any extra charges?

    Larry mightn't kill them for you down here, you'd probably have to sell them back again to the north to slaughter them:(

    i asked a dealer about that and he said that theyll kill them down here but they have to be done in bunches,thats what he said anyway

    one dealer was trying to sell three of tem last week he said never again to much hassel to get a buyer for tem.
    another one said ya hav to give the factorys a weeks notice
