    ....an F Key on startup??

I just built my own PC but am having trouble setting this up to work the way it does on my Laptop??

Can I set up my system and then do it?

Or should I just use something like EaseUS?

manu's usually have a specific partition table at the start of the drive
i.e, if you have already installed you have to shrink and move your existing partition and rebuild the boot sectors

it's usually a FAT partition with a different ID (dell use DE or something )

it's not as simple as cloning a partition from a different PC or creating a FAT one and changing the ID ( bearing mind you have to have the same number of sectors offset and stuff )

it's complicated and only works if your BIOS supports it , and you can get the software

Much easier to install a different boot manager on it's own partition what will give you a menu to choose OS's one of which could be clonezilla or http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php or http://partedmagic.com/doku.php?id=downloads
