Have a few badly rusted old kids bikes that i want to get rid of.
If i take the tyres and saddle off them, will the recycling centres take the rest in their scrap metal skips?

    Depends on the centre.

Don't bother with the tyres I'd say. Lifes too short for removing the plastic ball from the can of beamish before bringing it to the recycling centre
