CH analogue timer - easy to change to a digital one?

    Not sure if this might be better suited to Plumbing & Heating forum, but try here first.

    I currently have one of the old analogue central heating timers, complete with little plastic pins to set the On/Off times. Not very accurate and too easy to move the dial and hence make time wrong.

    Wondering if its easy enough to change it over to a digital one?

    yeah its just a one channel digital clock... it will come with a wiring diagram.. you just need to identify the permanent live and switched live... from memory i think u have to loop the permant live to one of the terminals... there are plenty of people on here that can help with the wiring diagram if u cant follow it...

    If your carefl what you buy you'll find quite a few analoge and digital timers will plug into the same base plate, no wiring reqired. :p
