Wireless card issue

I just recently built my first pc. Thankfully, almost everything went according to plan and seems to work great. However, I'm having an issue with the wireless card.

First, the card itself is this: http://www.edimax.co.uk/en/produce_detail.php?pl1_id=1&pl2_id=44&pl3_id=126&pd_id=325#03

So the card locates the router fine, gives a full signal, but I try to connect, but it tells me I have entered the wrong security password.

The thing is I haven't. I have 2 android phones, an iPad, a laptop and an Xbox 360 all connecting to the router using the same password. I logged into the router CP, and verified that I had the right password. I have a small USB wireless adapter from teh same company (http://www.edimax.co.uk/en/produce_detail.php?pl1_id=1&pl2_id=44&pl3_id=146&pd_id=328) which I plugged in to the PC, set up the connexion, and got connected using the same password. So I am SURE the password is right. ;) Also, the connexion is set with WPA-PSK encryption, which is the correct one to match the router settings.

So for whatever reason when I try to connect using the new wireless card, it tells me the password isn't right and won't connect. No matter what I do.

So far I have tried resetting it, turning the router on and off, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for the card. I'm also going to try taking the card out of the mainboard and putting it back in again, just in case, though I don't think it will do any good.

Has anyone any insight into what might be happening here? Am I doing something incredibly stupid or anything?

(For further info, my mainboard is an Asus P8Z68-V LE and I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate)

If the device has its own software try looking for an option to "use windows to manage wireless networks" or wording to that effect. Usually the software that ships with these devices is junk and unneccesary, and Windows will usually do a better job with the connecting stuff once the driver is installed
