The most frightening plane landings ever caught on camera, featuring expert analysis and testimonies from people who have lived to tell the tale. The programme explores incidents including the US Airways flight forced to ditch in New York's Hudson River in January 2009, and footage of hair-raising incidents at London's City Airport and in Leeds.

    Channel 5 8pm or 9pm on 5+1

Not to mention the twin engined Concorde.

In fairness it's got some very perceptive contributors.

Ultimately when an aircraft crashes it's either impact with another aircraft, or the ground.

Episode on now, not sure if its the same one, but its claiming that a nosewheel up landing would be "fatalities inevitable".

    Pathetic lack of research there.

Watch it tonight as well. It was okay I thought.

Couldn't help but notice that they referred to the JetBlue aircraft as a 737 when it was clearly an A320.
