I have a car and it seems to vibrating a lot over towards the passengers side.
I reckon it could be a wheel bearing...any one know is it dangerous to keep driving the car??...also anyone know roughly what it would cost to replace it ??.its a ford focus 2005 3 door

Much much more likely to be a wheel out of balance or a bulge on a tyre, particularly so if you haven't abnormally high mileage for that year.

Worn wheel bearlings would generate more noise than vibration.

Start by inspecting the tryes on that side for any damage. If none is visible, get the balancing checked. Take it from there.

cheers for the reply... there's only 68,000km on it, hopefully its not the bearing

Unlikely with that mileage, unless the car was in an accident at some stage.

Let us know what the problem was when you get to the bottom of it.

As above, if a wheel bearing was damaged to the point of causing vibrations then it would have been very noisy before now.

If the vibration only just started, did you hit any potholes? or park in any mud? What's the tyre condition?

Did he show you the problem with the car on the lift?

A sudden wheel bearing failure on a low mileage focus sound very strange.

Are they the original wheels or have you or the previous owner changed them?
