I have a soarview approved tv, i cannot tune in any channels apart from the usual rte1, rte2, tv3 & tg4 that i was already getting without a soarview approved tv, iv followed the guidelines on the website&the tv instructions which is mainly based on "freeview" but to no avail just wondering if any1 else living just outside Tramore has this problem? maybe its something to do with signal as broadband signal is quite poor out here

Saorview is only the 4 Irish channels. You have to get a satellite combo box (e.g. http://www.megavision.ie/ferguson-ariva-hd-120-combo.html) or Sky or something like that to get the English stations.

These are the channels you are supposed to be getting:

I'm outside Tramore and get Saorview perfectly. We get nine channels, but it's really the four original and rte jr really. like someone said you won't get the 100+ channels from freeview.

Have you tuned your tv to DTV or ATV? Sounds like it needs to be tuned into the digital service first.
