    Hi All,

in the market for a new HDD media player.

Had a LaCinema classic (non HD) for years when they first came out, did the job but now finding problems playing large files i.e it would stop before the video finishes.
Its also quite limited on features with basic menus etc.

Like to keep to lacie as I like the design!

Was looking at the lacinema classic network HD or the mini one.

The following criteria is needed as I work abroad.

    1) portable to a extent (asus oi play looks massive!)

    2) Outputs to PAL/NTSC as come across different TVs on my travels!!

    any other recommendations?

    thanks

    D

you could try a Sumvision Cyclone Micro media player - cheap and cheerful and is 1080p HDMI and plays MKV, AVI & H.264 - you can buy them here... www.lacuna.ie
