The University has organised a meeting with the campus planner and project manager to begin discussions that will lead to plans for a student centre being prepared.

The meeting is next Tuesday, 17th January and there will be SU, student, clubs and socs and staff represented at the meeting.

I have attached the results of the facilities survey conducted eralier in the academic year. Is there anything additional that members of the campus community would like us to bring?

    Interesting stats there, thanks

good to see Groupwork Space rated poor by the majority of students, This seriously needs to be addressed somehow

All seems about right to me. As Stuxnet says, think the thing that needs most focus is groupwork space at the moment, it's pretty poor as it is.

Yeah, that makes sense to me.

I'll ignore groupwork space for the moment, as Stuxnet and wnolan1992 have already mentioned that. As I explained to a few people at CRC in the Warehouse, we could do with a performance space - even only a small one - which societies such as the Music Soc, Drama Soc, DJ Soc and others could use to hold events. Would be a nice alternative to having it in the Stables. (which is not that bad! :pac:)
