Anybody now much about these numbers, thought they would make for some interesting conversation for some reason...

The Fibonacci sequence is the most famous sequence in maths and starts off with 0, 1, and continues on where each subsequent term is the sum of the two previous terms like so:

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, ...

The numbers in the Fibonacci are manifested throughout the natural world like for example in the number of petals in flowers and the reproductive patterns of rabbits and bees. A remarkable phenomenon is that the ratio of a term in the Fibonacci sequence with the one immediately after it as that term tends to infinity becomes the golden ratio 1.61803398874989484820.... which is present in all forms of beauty such as painting and architecture and human facial and body structure and in many other aspects of the natural world.
