Mail Clients in colleg

Hi all, does anyone know of any mail clients for mac working natively behind the proxy in college? I've tried the mac forum, but to no avail. I found postbox recently, that appears to recognise settings, but it won't work for some reason. Thanks

If it helps anyone here, thunderbird appears to be working,(sort of,but not behaving for me)

Entourage 2008 is the only supported client according to ISS.

IMAP on port 993 should work though the proxy. The outgoing SMTP server is smtp.tcd.ie on port 25.

Didn't work for me. I solved my problem though, by routing all my mail through entourage, and into mail.app

For outgoing mail, neither the Gmail server nor smtp.tcd.ie Port 25 are working for me... Any suggestions?
