Not at all techie minded so any advice needs to be simple !
I would like to install something on my galaxy s to close down apps and tell me when i have apps running . For example when I use my music player I have to go into settings> apps > running services to close it down. I would like something on my main screen that I could tap to close all running apps down
    Many thanks.

This can do it. Usually it's not needed tho. Ice Cream Sandwich has this built in. But that's not out ;)

Galaxy S has a build in widget for this, just go to widgets and select Program monitor. Simples.
