    Yes but you shouldn't be driving an out of date taxed car so how would you get to the centre ?

    But technically you can't tax it without NCT so of course you get towed to the cetre!

    They ask for it though which can be confusing....

    The motor tax office no longer ask to see the nct cert. In fact it's been a few years since they asked for it
