Am wondering if it would be risky to get a car signed off the road by guards for Motor Tax to cover me from last July to present. Problem is, I got a ticket for tax from traffic warden last November in a public car park!! Anyone know if the systems linked??

If you declare the vehicle off the road, and the gardai can provide evidence that you have used your vehicle (such as a parking ticket) then you can be prosecuted for making false declarations.

Should you break the law? Nope. Should you do it after being already caught and making a false declaration ? Certainly not

I would strongly suggest you familiarise yourself with the forum charter before posting here again.
