Moving furniture for painting and papering?

My DIY days are drawing to a close. Do painters and decorators usually move furniture for painting and papering? Or does it depend on the painters?

Yes most decorators will move furniture, you just move the small stuff, ornaments, pics and they should do the rest.
Also they should clean up after themselves, its part of the job.

I used to do DIY on painting, wallpapering, pplumbing and electrics but am now finding it takes far longer than it used to.

Last papering job, I stepped off the top rung of the step ladder and brought down two sheets of paper that I had just put up
