who is the most exciting fighter of all time....

don't include tyson or the heavyweights as those are obvious choice...

for me ricky hatton has to rank up there for pure excitement.....particularly his fights leading up to the tszyu fight....

another few would be prince naseem, gatti, morales, hearns and duran

my number 1 would probably be naseem hamed

theres so many, who's your favourite

    Hamed??

Never saw anything special or exciting there, but, that is your pick.

I loved Orlando Canizales. Great little all action fighter. Beautiful style and full of volume punching.

For sheer excitement and in your face, Nigel Benn always delievered. Gatti too.

when i say excitement i mean which fighter got me excited the most

i loved all hameds cockiness, theatrics and ring walks.....i loved his cheeky replys to reporters and his exciting one punch ko's......for me this was excitement

by excitement i don't necessarily mean most aggressive !

you don't think he was exciting????????? i'm surprised

it was rare for a featherweight to have such power.....it made it so exciting knowing he could end a fight with any punch....

agree benn would rank up there....i loved his intensity and ko power

I found his style very boring. Nothing remotely technical; beating bums most of the time, leaping in mostly. Yes, he had nice feet, lovely balance, just not my cup of tea.

Likes his ring entrance though. Inside the ring I was never impressed all that much.

nah i thought he was great for the sport....a few more characters like him and boxing would be a lot more interesting.....he had great speed, power and reflexes.....probably top 2 or 3 hardest punching featherweights of all time....

he fought anything but bums...he won european strap in 12th fight and wbc belt in 20th fight...not too bad

he fought very good names like kelley, medina, alicea, robinson, mccullough,, vasquez, ingle, soto, molina etc......hardly bums

Gatti- what he lacked in skill he made up for in guts and determination.

    Not all bums.

But, that list to me is nothing special. Wayne? Who didn't beat Wayne. Love Wayne, but never a threat to any half decent FW.

i agree it's not the best list of opponents....but i wouldnt class them bums

anyway it wasnt the opponents that made it exciting it was Naz's personality and charisma...he produced magic inside the ring and had great presence

    Matthew Saad Muhammad

    Bobby Chacon

    Nigel Benn

And obviously THE most exciting - Gatti

Many where bums by the time Hamed fought them, or tailor made for him, like MCcullogh and his lack of power to trouble him.

He was exciting though but his opposition was made for him to beat.

I always loved Chavez and was sick when he lost, I really wanted him to reach the 100 unbeaten.

Sugar ray Robinson and Leonard where so exciting

Steve Collins always excited me ever since he fought Chris Pyatt.

Nigel Benn was all excitement, 100 mile an hour always!

Barry McGuigan and Tyson where the 2 that got me interested in Boxing so Barry deserves a mention.

Rush Boxing club and Rush Martial Arts head coach.

    + 1 Barry McGuigan.

Diego "chico" Corrales for me also.

Mine is mayweather when he was young still at his prime vs gatti. He completely destroyed and annihilated him. He was cocky arroogant talked the talk but did the work.

It was a true display of a skilled talented boxer.

I can't one ONE fighter as the most exciting ever, but Pacquiao would be up there.

Always comes forward attacking, always gives as good as he takes. If you hurt him he will come back at you right away. You always know you will be entertained.

i think the tread is more about who is your favourite exciting fighter rather than disagreeing with other peoples choices as everyone will have a different opinion;)
