Wondering if anyone can provide any insight on the optional modules in second semester.

    Entertainment Law
    Law of the Sea (yarr)
    Health Law & Policy
    European Human Rights

Is entertainment law stuff like copyright? I imagine it could be relatively interesting.

Law of the Sea sounds dire

Health law could be lots of scary medical cases.

Human Rights is something I actually care about, but the scholastic world has a knack for making even things I am usually interested in, boring as ****.

If Law of the Sea is taught by Ronan Long, then you should do it. Not only is he the best lecturer I have ever had, he basically gives you the paper. His course work is always manageable as he does take any interest in irrelevant stuff, he is straight to the point. The content is dry enough but there are definitely interesting elements touched on that you would not expect. Entertainment law is okay, much like Tort, applying knowledge to problems. Health law is the worst of all these. The cases are boring and the module offers no real benefits. You should definitely take Human Rights Law. It will give you a different way of looking at things, which is crucial for developing arguments in all areas of law.
