Shop on Great Britain St

    Hi There,

Just looking for some advice on this:

My great great great grandmother ran a confectionery shop on Great Britain Street in the 1850s. She rented the premises and I know the name of the landlord, but I was wondering whether it would have been normal to have a lease or something similar and whether there would be any records of such an arrangement available anywhere to search through.

    Thanks :D

take a look at the registry of deeds website - there might be some info there if not a result.
