The shower in my home dosen't work properly. When I have just hot water on it just trickles out, when on cold it's fine.
What do I need to do to fix this?
Also I was thinking of getting a electric or power shower.
Does either of these increase the hot water pressure?Which is the best?
    Thanks

    Power shower -
Advantages: good pressure, usually quieter than electric shower.

Disadvantages: always have to have hot water in your cylinder(no stored hot water = cold shower), pipework may need to changed as it should have an independent supply of both hot and cold to it.

    Electric shower (tank fed)-
Advantages: it heats its own hot water so no need for any stored, usually easier to install.

Disadvantages: pressure will be average, noisy, needs a power supply straight from your fuse board.

    Electric shower (mains fed) -
Advantages: it heats its own hot water so no need for any stored, usually easier to install, if your mains water pressure is good you will have good pressure from your shower, very quiet.

Disadvantages: needs a power supply straight from your fuse board, reliant on your mains water pressure.
