Is it possible to prioritise recordings on a UPC HD box?

As the title says. Is there anyway to prioritise what channels the UPC box records? I know you can protect them once they are recorded but I want to make sure it records a particular program at a certain time without manually setting up the recording.

I missed a program which I wanted to see, I hate ads so record and watch delayed. But the box recorded another channel while I was watching something else, both shows are repeated it just recorded the older scheduled program ahead of the fresh one. The day before, I thought, I'd cleared all recordings that clashed but it recorded a different series linked show which wasn't showing when I checked.

All recording are by series link.

It's a valid question and the fact that you can set a priority when using remote record suggests that there is such a facility but I can't see it on the TV menus.

Just to clarify in case you don't use it - if you have an iPhone and have the UPC Remote Record app installed, you can use the app to tell your Digital+ box to record a program but before the app sends the request, it asks you if you want that recording (the one you're about to store) to have priority over an already stored recording where there's an overlap, the tick box on the iPhone app says 'Override previous scheduled recording'.

Cheers I forgot about that. I just use their mobile site from my phone but never even thought of using that for series linking.

Haven't had a chance to play with setting recordings on the box. Busy with work so it may be a few days.

From observations over the last few nights it does appear that the older the series link is the higher priority it gets when the UPC box decides what to record.

Looks like I'll have to start using their website / App for stuff I really want to watch
