Last night I placed a rather small of €5.76 bet on Benzema Madrid Wincast at odds of 4/5, he didnt start but came on and scored. I went to my account this morning expecting 10.37 but instead found 8.06. I got on to live help just to see what had happened and it turns out that cause he didn't start they gave me odds on just the real madrid win of 2/5. Is this correct ? Should I not be paid out my correct amount as my bet did actually win ? It was with Williamhill btw.

What do their rules say about it?

If they've done as per their rules then it's correct, if not then it's incorrect.

He never quoted the rules, he just said the bet was settled as a real win. Then as I was arguing my point he lost connection and I never got a chance to copy the chat. So back in the queue now to see what they say. I know its only a small amount but its better off in my pocket :)

I would have thought they'd move it to a single win if the goal had been scored before he came on,or just voided the bet

    Differs for different bookies.
Some pay it as the Team Win only, some void it if the player doesn't start.
Betfair and Bookie prices will vary a lot on anytime goalscorers because of the different rules.

Ye generally if the player doesn't start its deemed as void for any of the goalscorer markets as far as i can remember.

If it was any anytime goalscorer bet it would be a winner and as a wincast bet is a player to score at anytime and his team to win it should be a winner. I think they have made an error here.

Should be a winner imo, you backed real to win and benzema to score....exactly what occurred. Has to be paid out

    William Hills Rules
    7. ANYTIME WINCAST:
    a. An Anytime Wincast requires you to select a player to score anytime and their team to win in a double. Bets will be settled at the combined odds advertised or displayed. Unless otherwise stated extra time does not count.

    b. If a player does not start a match Anytime Wincasts bets are void. Anytime Wincasts will be void if a match is abandoned. If the only goals in the match are own goals, an Anytime Wincast will be settled on the team to win at the appropriate odds.

    8. ANYTIME SCORER:
    a. Select a player to score at any time during the match. Unless otherwise stated extra time does not count.

    b. Players must start the match for bets to be valid. Stakes will be refunded on anytime goalscorers who do not start, whether or not they score

    c. In the event of 'non-participants', singles will be void and accumulative bets will be settled on the remaining selections.

    d. Any selection taken from a match that is not completed will be treated as a non-participant.

    e. Own goals do not count.

    f. Anytime scorers taken from the same match can be combined in multiple bets.

According to their own rules, the bet should have been voided!

    PP
    Wincast

    Player to score/match result doubles
To win you must successfully forecast both a player to score in a selected match and also the match result after normal time.
If a player is selected who takes no part in the match then all bets will be void regardless of the match result.
In the event of a match being abandoned, all bets will be void

    Nothing about starting in there.

    Ladbrokes

Had nothing for wincasts only scorecasts

    Boyles
    Couldn't find it

    Bet365
They have wincast as 1st goal and team to win

Wincast (Team to Win and Player to Score First)
If a player enters the field after a goal has been scored; takes no part in the game; or the only goals are own goals, then such bets will be settled as a single on the full time result market at the relevant odds quoted at match kick-off time.
