Does anyone know if it's possible to book a one-way flight with BMI in economy? Their website seems to only allow you to book it in business.

Am looking to fly from Berlin to Dublin, but the direct flight times (Aer Lingus/Ryanair) don't work for me, so am looking at BMI via LHR.

Ring them would be your best option - seems odd alright could just be a glitch in the system.

Do BMI have business on that route?

It may be that the fare they are offering is the only fare left.

The website will give me an economy option on both legs if I book it as a return flight. But if I try to book oneway only on the Berlin-LHR-Dublin leg, the only option presented to me is a business class flight.

Rang BMI and the best fare they could give me was equivalent to what the website shows.

    Very odd.

Will probably book a return flight with BMI and travel outward with them as well (even if it involves going via LHR).

Have you checked Swissair? Might end up being cheaper/easier, I looked at them (through skyscanner.ie) for heading to Berlin later in the summer (Euro finals) and they were very reasonable with short transfer times between flights.

yup, swiss often have good deals!

and if theres a problem or delay that might cause you to miss the connection in switzerland they will rebook you for free on a Lufthansa flight (who own Swiss) as happened me one time on my way to Dublin from Germany via Geneva.
