Has this been rolled out countrywide?

i know it was introduced in 2009 and they had it in limerick in 2010 but has it reached the towns etc yet or is it nationwide and what other emergency services use it?

On a side note, has anyone any idea what will be happening to the o2 masts on the Garda stations that are closing down? Surely o2 will have to pay some sort of rent or will the tax payer be paying for o2 to operate a mast on a closed down Garda station / site ?

Whoever owns the land gets the Rent from the tower logically

Some masts still have their uses.

My understanding is they're being closed as Garda stations but the OPW still own the buildings and land
