Repost: Posted this in Health/Fitness forum.. Might be best suited here!

    Hey guys,

I've since changed around my training routine due to cut in working hours. I do my training session in the afternoon now.. Was home from the gym at 6pm and had my dinner, rested for awhile and went for a short 5km run at 8.15pm.. Any suggestions on whether I should eat something after this or not? Finding myself quiet hungry now :/
    Thanks, L

It depends on the intensity of the run. If running easy for anything less than an hour then personally I wouldn;t be too stressed about eating. If dong intervals or some steady pieces I'd have some food after. Typically a banana and some fruit juice with protein. Within an hour of the session I'd have some more high GI carbs, eggs or chicken and some veg or fruit.
