Hope you guys can help, I am moving to Dublin in a few weeks and really would like to take up football again. Played my whole life but now its been about 3 years since I last played.

I will be moving to Rathmines and will be without a car, does anybody know any decent clubs that I could join? Keep in mind I need to be able to get to and from the training ground quite easily!

    Thanks in advance! :D

There is no great presence of GAA clubs in that particular area. The bigger clubs would be your best bet, Ranelagh is a 5 minute walk from the Swan Centre, and you can get the Luas at the Ranelagh luas stop and head to Kilmacud, Kilmacud Crokes are a huge club and have teams at every level.

If you walk 7 minutes to just past Portobello you can get the 123 and that will take you to Good Counsel GAA club. I'm not sure if they have ladies football, the definitely have Camogie and they're one of the only clubs in the area to cater for ladies.

Templeougue Synge Street is also a 25 minute walk up the canal, they are a big club, but I'm not sure if they have ladies football.
