Hi there, am looking at buying Berlei strapless bra online, I am normally a D cup in Triumph, but have never bought a Berlei before - can anyone advise if the sizing is similar, or would I be better off to drop a cup size??

For a strapless I always drop a cup size, a friens recommended doing it a few years ago. Works a charm.

yep, leave the 3x bit alone otherwise you'll get back boobs :-)

From working in the lingerie department in Debenhams, I would not advise you to drop a cup size. If anything, sometimes you need to go up on the cup & down on the back, in order to give a good enough lift.

You do not want over spill in a strapless bra (what you will get if you drop a cup size), as this will look terrible in whatever you choose to wear.

Instead, you're often advised to drop a size in the back, as this will enable the bra to stay in place & hold up your breasts.

Besides the above, we never stocked Berlei bra's so I can't comment on how they are to wear.
