Trying to find out about the various groups who do voluntary (or other) work for the long-term unemployed or those who are trying to return to education, be it junior/leaving cert, etc.

Does anyone know where I can find a collated list of such groups? I have found out about some of the smaller ones operating in specific areas of Ireland but most of these do other things besides helping long-term unemployed, and I would like to find out more about the main ones focussed on retraining/eduation, etc. Can't seem to put my finger on a list anywhere.
