I'm in transition year and we've just started talking about our history projects. I wanted to do Coco Chanel but everyone does that topic. I wanted to do either the impact that The Beatles or Elvis had on the music industry but I've been told that a lot of people use that topic. I don't want to do something that everyone else is doing because the examiner will be sick of seeing it. Has anyone done The Beatles or Elvis for their history project?

The Beatles, Elvis, Rosa Parks, Bloody Sunday, MLK, anything to do with the Nazis and Jews - all been done hundreds of thousands of times.

Pick something specific and ideally local. Find primary sources.
