Breadmaker dough question

I love making cinnamon rolls/buns in the breadmaker, there's a great recipe for the dough here.

The dough cycle takes 2.3 hrs, and then you assemble the filling, roll up, cut, let rise and bake. My question is this:
At what point can you cool or freeze the dough? Basically whenever I make rolls of any type in the breadmaker, it takes about 4 hours between dough making, along and the second rise. If you make the dough (first rise in machine) can you then shape them and refrigerate/freeze them? Will they still rise for the second time when defrosted and put in a warm place? Or do you freeze after the second rise, but just before the bake?

This might be a silly question, but I never know when to stop the process so I can continue at a later time. Or if that's even possible. Any advice really appreciated! :)

Gonna answer my own question in case it helps anyone else :o

You can refrigerate the dough after the first rise, before the second and though it means they don't rise quite as much, the come out fine.

Sometimes you just gotta try these things out:)
