Anyone here using Photocrati on Wordpress?

    Hey all,

Thinking of buying this and was just wondering if anyone here has any experience or knowledge of it at all?

    http://www.photocrati.com/

Is it a worthy investment? My site is shanemaguire.ie, and I'm using a theme called Sliding Doors that I was quite fond of, but I think it's a bit stale and dull now, and I'm about to go pro so would like to try and get a better looking, easier to handle site.

Also, i know the Photocrati site above says that it features "built-in e-commerce galleries" but I was wondering if anyone knows of any easy but good ways of selling photos online (digital copies OR prints)?

Would like to think that people will visit the site, but don't really ever see anyone buying from it, so as much as I'd like to have a decent shop that works, I wouldn't be too keen on spending much to get it up and running, so i'd like to try free/cheap options if anyone knows of such?

    Thanks :)

Use wordpress. You will be able to put together a pretty good site for free on that or pay a bit extra for a theme with lots more options and designs.
There are plenty of free and paid e-commerce plugins available for wordpress also.

Sorry if it wasn't clear. I'm already on Wordpress, and have the site up and running. I'm just thinking of buying that Photocrati site and seeing what it's like, but before I do, i'm asking if anyone else is using it, and their thoughts on it?

It's horses for courses really. You will get different themes for much cheaper that will do the same and are much more editable but if you want something out of the box that works then Photocrati is pretty good.
I was looking at it a while back and decided against it in the end as it's not very editable so if you wanted to be able to change the site layout or the shop then it wasn't easy or even possible in lots of cases.
