Are fox tails of any value and if so where would one sell them?

I couldn't find anything on here about them.

    Thanks,

I don't know of any value except points in the vermin control scheme.

Reckon you'd want to ask them who they voted for first, if Republican, probably onto a winner :D

Fox pelts where going at £25 (never the tails) in fact a long while back. Knew a man who would go to London with a van load once a month and built a house on the proceeds. The Stink was horrendous:)

Heard a tall tail (hey hey) that years ago a local lad bought 2 brand new jeeps from the money he used to get from shooting foxes. He then cut the roof off one of the jeeps and used it solely for pursuing foxes

No vaule in the tails today unless you come up with an idea and some form of industry for them. They'll never work as clothing due to the negative press it will receive. Fox fur lined duvets or something.

Fox pelts still get sold, just not out of here. The thing is superior fox pelts are more readily available now from colder countries like Canada and in particular Russia, colder climate, better pelt.

Many years ago a chap I knew decided he would make his daughter a "Muffler" as in hand warmer out of fox fur for his daughter, a mighty job he made of it too but the poor child couldnt walk past a dog for the barking and snarling from them:D
