earth rods

    have work to do in flats in a house. all have separate meter boxes and meters. earth rods were never fitted .do i need 4 rods or will 1 do. was thinking 4 ?

    not familiar with flats

    unless there's a switchroom with a main isolating switch that switches off all flats

    then id say its 4 installations and 4 rods

    4 meters in 4 locations = 4 seperate installations = 4 earth rods

    i was thinking 4 was needed. contractor left 4 earths outside,but never finished job. owner hoped 1 rod would do:)

    If all 4 meters were installed in a single cabinet (sharing 1 cut out) then 1 earth rod would be required.
