Hi,

Could someone here point me in the right direction please.

Im looking for some reading on tube amps, they way they work, the differences between tubes and maybe some easy mods to begin with.

Books or the internet i dont mind.

Any help would be great.

The Tube Amp Book by Aspen Pittman (of Groove Tubes)... http://www.amazon.com/Tube-Amp-Book-Revised-Hardcover/dp/0879307676 I have an older copy but I haven't looked at it in years...lots of circuit diagrams for classic amps as I remember it but not much about mods.
