Mats-Repair

    Hi Guys,

I have a few old Judo style mats that are now showing some significant wear and tear, especially on the edging.

Can these be repaired and do you know of any specialist kits that can be purchased or will heavy duty duck tape do the trick?

Also the grip on these mats has gone and as I use them on a tiled floor can you advise if there is 'non-slip type material' that I can stick/apply to the base or would it be a better option (although more time consuming) if I used painters masking tape (the wider type) and taped them together when using them?

    Thanks in advance

You could get some velcro flaps glued on to them to keep them together. I saw that done once.

I use these for anti-slip on my couch & for my mats. You can defo get them in Woodies:

I just can't find them on their website.

I don't know a huge amount about this but from what I've seen in the clubs I've been in the silver duct tape seems to work for cuts, around the edges I'm not sure though.
