Mispelled Passenger Name with AERLINGUS

Hi i recently booked flights with aerlingus to Barcelona. Made small mistake with name..typed GORMEY instead of GORMLEY! :mad: ... If i ring the aerlingus helpdesk up will they change this typo free of charge? I've looked around their website and I seen that if you need a name change it costs €100 :eek: really not prepared…

Hi

I've looked around their website and I seen that if you need a name change it costs €100 :eek: really not prepared to pay that just for the letter L!!

Has anyone any previous dealings with anything like this, any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Normally they'll change pretty obvious mistakes free of charge. (The fee you're speaking of isn't a spelling mistake correction fee, but a name change fee - i.e. ticket in John Smith's name being changed to Mark Black for example).
