Hotmail seems to be frozen

I've been having a problem with my email on my laptop since before Christmas. When I sign into my hotmail account for college, the page seems to freeze. I can only see the first email in the inbox, I can't open the others, write a new email or access the deleted items/sent items/etc. and also once I'm logged in, I can't log back out again, I just have to x out of the window completely. The thing is, I can access my email on pretty much any other computer except my own. I don't know if there's a virus problem, because my laptop seems fine in every other way. It seems to just be my email it's having problems with.

Any help on this would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

What extensions (if any) are you using in Chrome? Also try other browsers and see if the problem still happens

I tried it on Internet Explorer and it worked fine there. So is it just a problem with Google Chrome? I don't know what you mean by extensions?

Does the site work in "Incognito"/private browsing mode? This disables extensions in Chrome. If no joy try deleting your Chrome profile and starting fresh, backup all your bookmarks before doing this, instructions are: here
