I have approx 10,000 shares in AGI - bought them at .09c and now they are worth 0.8c. They were taken over yesterday and all the share capital sold??? Im confused, do i have to sell my shares now or can i keep them in case they go up? Currently worth €800 so a small amount

Something similar happened to me with a small biotech, Alltracel. The shares will still being traded up to a certain date. At the point any AGI shareholders will be automatically "cashed out" and you'll be sent a cheque corresponding to the value of your holding. Until then, they might be traded at ever so slightly less thatn the agreed prioce, to factor in the risk of anything untoward happening between now and then.

It's a corporate takeover and the agreed share price is .0917. Anyone who bought at 9 will make an extremely small profit or will break even when the costs of the initial share purchase transaction(s) (commission) is taken into consideration.

I bought them thinking they'd either go bust or find a cure for some rampant ailment. Never crossed my mind that it would all end in a corporate takeover! Anyway, I lost about a fifth of what I put in (3 figures only!!).

BTW, I received all appropriate documents weeks ago. My understanding is that as long as there isn't a share option with Aravis (which there hasn't been up to now and most likely won't be), and that you do nothing, you will receive a cheque for the value of the number of shares you hold multiplied by Euro.0917.

Edit: Just noticed the OP bought at .08 so you'll gain about one hundred euro.
