Civil ceremony Venue Cork

We are hoping to get married next year so the search is on for the venue

We have narrowed our reception venue down to a few places in north and east cork but want a seperate venue for the civil ceremony.

we are looking for somewhere that can seat up to 120 guests.

we have already looked at a few:
    • Blackrock castle: too small I'd say a max of 50 for this venue
    • Barryscourt castle Carrigtwohill: will not hire out for civil ceremonys
    • Vision cernter city center: no parking and lack of ground for photos
I dont want to spend a fortune but we want to spread out the day a little and feel having everything done in the hotel would make the day feel very long.

I'm going to enquire into Fota house and Cork City Goal too see if they would be suitable but I've got a feeling that they will be pricey.

I find it very frustrating that the registra does not give out a list of pre-approved venus to help people in there search. It would make life much easier.:o

Does anyone have any other venues that may be good?
