The book didn't get great reviews, interesting idea though. Says that he died in argentina in 62. Heres some info and video:

I have a few problems believing this.

1 - I think it's unlikely Hitler lived until 1962, considering his health in 1945.

2 - The Author in the report makes reference to Bormann escaping too, but Bormanns remains were found and positively identified by DNA test in 1976 (?) near a Berlin railway station.

3 - Has Rochus Misch been lying ? He claims to have seen the bodies being taken upstairs to be burnt in the garden.

Good YT documentary on the subject.

And a counter documentary about Hitler in the Andes. (5 parts)

Wouldn't mind giving the book a read tho. There are a couple of theories, and comparing them for anything that can be cross referenced might throw further light on this claim. There is also the case of U-977 which didn't surrender until August 17th 1945, in Argentina.

The most interesting parts of WW2 for me, are the very start, and the very end. Both are awash with intrigue and theory.

My main issue with this theory was the state of Hitler's health in 1945. He was quite ill-possibly with a mix of Parkinsons and syphillis and healthcare simply wasn't as good in the 1940's and 1950's as it now is. If the documentary suggested a death date of the early to mid 50's it might be believable but I find it unlikely that he would have survived much longer.

Thanks for the replies and some nice video links there marcsignal.

So its very unlikely then. You say he had parkinsons and syphilis, was he a bit of a lady's man?

There is no evidence of Syphillis. He was not known to be a womaniser (in the standard definition of the word) he did maintain a (hidden from public view) relationship with Eva Braun however.

Also if, and after he died post 1945 whats the point in keeping it secret then and up until now anyway?

Really? I definately remember reading several references to early signs of syphillis- I must dig them up, they were reputable enough if I recall.

He was definately no womaniser (certainly compared to Mussolini or Stalin), he only had one definate female partner and 3-4 others are speculated upon. In fact Hitler had quite an odd relationship with women in general to the point where some academics have claimed he was secretly gay or asexual. I find both possibilities highly unlikely however.
