I have to replace the passenger side track rod end,Is it a wise move to replace the other side at the same time.

    Renault Twingo 60,000km

I wouldn't replace it unless it needs it.to be honest the passenger side track rod end takes way more of a hammering then the drivers side.as all the pot holes and the likes seem to be on the inside of the roads

Ask the mechanic to double check your second track rod. If it is so so I would replace them both in one go. You have to make the wheel alignment after steering parts replacement to avoid car pulling left/right and as a result tires damage. Normally tie rods for Renaults in motorfactors cost in around 15-20 each and about 20-30 each to replace in a garage. Front wheels tracking cost in about 40 euro.

The other one is fine, track rod end from Renault 92 euro

I would not go for an original part, because it is overpriced and there is nothing special in it. Any motorfactor will supply this way cheaper..

Well for a 2009 1.2 (should be same part for all years/engines 2008-2012) £10.86 each free delivery for Ireland this is a firstline part same as you'll get in premier motorfactors etc.

    http://www.europarts-motorfactors.com/Steering-Suspension/Steering-Susp-Components/Renault-Twingo-1.2-2009/Parts.aspx?SubGroup=ST~Steering+%26+Suspension~SPRT-ST~Steering+%26+Susp.+Components

You can ghange model, engine year etc on the right.

I would go so far as to say the the non renault ones may last longer certainly engine mounts and bushings seem to last longer with spurious ones.

Thanks for that, the site is the only one showing parts for the turbo model that I found.
