I would also be interested in this so will be keeping an eye on this thread!

In the meantime OP have you seen Vivien of Holloway dresses? Some of the wedding dresses are lace and look amazing, price is great too...

Amy Jo Tatum and Candy Anthony dresses are to die for but are at the other end of the price bracket unfortunately!

thanks a mill! I like the vivien ones but would be worried about the quality for my wedding dress. I might get one for a wedding im attending though! or for the next day.

Candy is out of my budget at around 2k each.

I love some of these but am worried about getting them online but I may do.

Id love to get one of their designs made in ireland if it was a reasonable price.

I have a dressmaker who is very close to me and would have been fully prepared to make my wedding dress for me, when I asked her for a tea length one she said no way would she make it, it'd be cheaper to buy it because of the amount of layers under the skirt.

    Hi EveT,
I was originally considering a tea length dress and have since changed my mind but some of my research might help you.

I had emailed dolly couture about stockists and they said The bridal boutique in Kilrush, Clare are stockists of the range (dont know to what extent though). That was only listed stockist in Ireland

Theres also another site called look darling based in the UK (stock dolly couture and also her own designs) but are based in wirral, uk-also emailed owner and she was helpful but didnt have dolly couture style I was interested in.

I also came across a dressmaker/designer based in Dublin (peekaboo.com), based in liffey st who was also a possibility to get it made. has couple pics on site of tea length style wedding dress

Just to say the above is based purely on email contact/internet research so have no idea of quality etc as I decided against tea length in the end but might give you some ideas.

Thanks a million for all the information, I met the girl in peekaboo already and shes a real possibility. Id love to talk to someone who actually had their dress made by her though before deciding on it and cant find anyone!

I know. It's such a big decision and harder to make when you can't see an end product in advance :)

Very few bridal shops seem to stock tea length dresses, I did come across 1 or 2 but theres not a huge amount of choice, particularly if you have a set idea in mind.

Best of luck with it anyway and hope you get what you are looking for, I still love the idea of it :)
