Booking flights with airline or with lastminute etc?

    I'm just wondering if there are any differences in booking directly with an airline (KLM) for flights to Japan or via a website such as sckyscanner/lastminute etc?

    The direct KLM option is marginally more expensive but I just wonder if there is any more security or flexibility in booking with them rather than one of the other websites.

    Well if things go wrong or something changes, it's generally easier to deal directly with the airline. If you book through a 3rd party the airline will refer you back to them to deal with issue.

    Thanks Buffybot - went with KLM! Normally I wouldn't be too bothered but this one is a big trip!
