    Not sure if it's the exact same model as you're dvd as it has a dz on the end,
    But you can have a look and maybe it will work for you :D

    I've never seen a DVD player made region free by burning a file onto a CD and running it through the player. Is this the normal and safe way of making DVD player region free? I've only ever seen it done through the remote by pressing a sequence of buttons. Is this possible for this DVD player?

    It does not seem to be possible for you're player, as for burning a disc this is something that I have done to get my bluray player region free for both dvd's & blurays and as long as you follow the instructions i'm sure you will be fine :)
