See what it says on the tax and nct disc, I'm thinking somewhere a long the way the owner mad a balls of buying a replacement plate or plates.

Looks Photoshoped to me, the 9's are not from the original photo, they were pasted in later, the lad is possibly just trying to hide it from being cloned, maybe ask him over the phone what's the correct reg.

    Edit...
My guess is correct reg is 00CE567, this shows as a 1 litre Polo. The 00CE5691 is also a Polo but I think this is conincedental.

    Thank you and good night

With all the countless polos out there why would you even bother to view this questionable one?

That's a polo 6n2 which as I remember didn't come out till summer 2000, if that reg was right then it'd be the older 95 type polo with orange indicators etc.

Could be something as innocent as the owner putting on new plates and getting them wrong.
    Could also be something worse,

Something hanging down at the rear left under the bumper?

Both of the regs look like they've been photoshopped. 00CE569 brings up a totally different vehicle, so I'd advise you to run a mile.

It looks very dodgy, and would make you wonder why they did it. If you do go to check it out, ensure you post up the real reg here, and pay money to motorcheck.ie or a site like it to give you a full history of that reg, as this one stinks a lot!!!
