bluetooth problems

Hi, I was wondering how reliable people found the bluetooth services on android in general, and more specifically, on 2.2, a galaxy s.
Also does anyone have a solution for my issue?

I have a galaxy, running the stock kernel and a jabra 3030 stereo headset. Every other time I disconnect the 2. My phone decides it's for ph audio only. I then have to un/re pair to get it to work for stereo audio again. Sometimes, as in right now, they won't unpair. I long click the device in bluetooth settings, select disconnect and unpair, which it does, but it won't re pair, and long clicking the unpaired device, gives the option to unpair. I have tried un pairing and rebooting ph and device in several different orders, but I can't now get them to pair.
This has happened before, but a few weeks later, they started working again
