    G'day Boardsies

    This is my sob story:

Worked with my Dad as a painter from May '09 - Sept '11, I decided to go to college in September just gone so I stopped working with my Dad... now I'm after realising that I chose the wrong course half way through and that I'm not going to pass, my family is struggling financially so I need to get a job again, work with my Dad has tried up (ba dum tish) so I have to find work elsewhere

The thing is, I wasn't being taxed when I was working with my Dad, it was cash in hand...how will this sit with future employers?
    Also I dont have a P45

    This is my experience:

    Centra - 2 Months

Dunnes Stores - 7 Months (Dunnes gave me a bad reference last time I put them on a CV, even though I havent worked there since 2007)

Worked with Dad - Over 2 years

Job hunting starts tomorrow :) and

Working cash in hand in the past shouldn't be an issue with potential employers , would be if you went to claim benefits though.

You don't need a p45 if you haven't worked since January. It's generally just used for your new company to know how many tax credits you have left.
